Be sure to read the report from our Missionary of the Week each Sunday in the church bulletin for updated progress reports. These reports are provided to help us pray specifically for our missionaries and their needs. The Lord's commandments to share the Good news of the Gospel; are found throughout the Scriptures. But there is a verse in Ezekiel that seems to express the Heart of God when it comes to missions.
In a passage that is filled with a description of the kinds of sinners there are in the World, God says this in Chapter 22 and verse 30.
"And I searched for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."
Realizing that the world is full of those who fall short of the glory of God, we find the sadness of the expression in Ezekiel. But for a witness that would turn sinners to God, the consequences of unbelief are clearly spelled out. God will destroy sin.
Let us join with those that are shown on this site to make up the wall so that Satan's influence cannot enter, sinners can hear the Gospel, be saved and avoid the destruction waiting for those without saving faith.
