Joan Martin, M.S. is a certified counselor in Washington State. As Director of Counseling at Alderwood Christian Resources, she provides therapy to singles, women, teens, and couples. Joan specializes in issues such as unresolved grief and loss, anger, and depression. Her aim is to help people change old patterns and find more satisfying interpersonal relationships as they experience life's various transitions.
Joan holds a Master's degree in Counseling from Seattle Pacific University. Her undergraduate degree is in Biblical Studies and Women's Ministries from Multnomah Bible College. Joan is committed to Biblical principles as the guideline for health and wholeness.
Support Groups & Educational Services
Alderwood Christian Resources provides support groups and instructional seminars on wide variety of topics. These services include issue-oriented support groups, topic-focused seminars, and courses taught by counseling and pastoral staff.
