WHAT'S A MAN LOOKING FOR?

AN ADVENTURE TO LIVE!

It's about doing adventure with other guys who love what you love to do!

PLAY HARD!

A BATTLE TO FIGHT!
We men work hard at our play, but we realize that life is serious and there are people who need our help. We want to do what we can to attack the problems that affect people wherever we have opportunity.
GET DANGEROUS!

A RELATIONSHIP TO BUILD!
We value our local friendships - but imagine the richness of building new friendships in faraway lands and diverse cultures!
MAKE IT PERSONAL!

LIFE GROUPS
Pastors Brad and Tim and several other of our ACC men's leaders are in the middle of the spring quarter of Men's Life Groups. These groups are about 5-10 guys in size and feature on-going fellowship/Bible study meetings. The studies follow custom-written discussion guides written by our staff to dovetail with the Sunday sermons. Groups will run three quarters a year with summers off. No one will be "shackled" to a group, but our hope is that groups will "grow old together" and will cultivate strong durable friendships and mutual support in our spiritual journeys and times of crisis. Sign-ups for Life Groups take place during a two-week period three times each year - fall, winter, and spring. Contact Pastor Steve Brooks to find out how you can get involved!

FREEDOM FIGHTERS
Hey, men! We live in a sex-charged culture where temptation is all around us--it's inescapable and it's never been more accessible than right now in our daily lives. Freedom Fighters is about learning how to fight confidently for sexual integrity. This ministry for men is all about getting free from the destructive habits that hold us back and mess us up with God and the people we love. It's all about taking back ground from the world, the flesh, and the devil. It's about manning-up with buddies that care, and doing the right stuff. Our theme verse is Hebrews 12:1-2, Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
We launched Freedom Fighters in September 2011 and celebrated a year of progress in March 2012.
THE GAME PLAN
Now we’re roaring back with an “addiction-battle” focus in the spring of 2013. Our textbook/workbook will be THE GAME PLAN by Joe Dallas. Author Joe Dallas writes:
I'm a Christian author, husband and father of two, married to my lovely wife Renee since 1987. We fellowship at Newport Mesa Church in Orange County, CA, and I run a ministry in Tustin, CA, called Genesis Counseling. Most of my writing has focused on sexual issues from a conservative Christian perspective, and since 1987, I've been honored to work with men who want to resolve conflicts between their sexual behavior and their relationship with Christ.
Joe knows what he’s talking about--his own story of destruction started with exposure to porn and sexual abuse at age 8, indulgence in porn and experimentation into his teen years, salvation at age 16, full-time ministry at age 18, and then a fall into six years of pornography, prostitution, fornication, homosexuality, and alcoholism. See Tim's written book review of The Game Plan.
We'll meet for 15 weeks February 20 thru June 12, Wednesdays, 7:00-8:25pm in C200 (We’ll skip the night of April 3 due to the Edmonds Spring Break).
Books and more information will be available in the Men's Ministry table in the West Hallway on Sunday, February 17.
For more information contact Pastor Tim Walton.
