| How Long at ACC: |
My wife Jan and I have been attending ACC since 1977. |
| Growing up: |
I grew up in Kansas and met Jan while attending Grace Bible Institute (now Grace University) in Omaha, Nebraska. |
| Family: |
Jan and I have three adult married children with a total of seven grandchildren. We are blessed to have seen all three of our children commit their lives to Christ and are seeking to raise their children with Christian principles. We also count it a great privilege to have all three of our children and families in the Seattle area. |
| Education: |
Grace University; graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a B.A. in Psychology/Sociology. |
| Past employment: |
Retired in 2006 as the probation manager after 34 years in juvenile probation with Snohomish County Superior Court. After self-employment in home repair business for one and a half years I returned to Snohomish County where I currently do a job share with another retiree. |
| Activities/Hobbies: |
Working around our mini-farm, reading and spending time with our children and grandchildren. |
| Why ACC: |
When we decided it was time to make a move in churches I knew immediately where we would go as I had worked with several men in Bible Study Fellowship from ACC and they showed great knowledge of the Bible and I knew they had received great teaching from Pastor Lowell Wendt whom I looked to as a spiritual mentor as a young elder. |
| Favorite Music: |
Gospel, easy listening, classical and some country. |
| Favorite Books: |
The books I tend to read are ones that I feel will add substance to my walk with Christ. Many of these are commentaries on various books of the Bible. |
